Sinner Saint Burlesque

Thu 12 January to Sat 25 February

The sacred and the profane exist as two sides of the same coin.  Explore this tantalizing dichotomy with the ladies of Sinner Saint Burlesque and discover just how tempting it is when the wanton and the worshipful collide.  Join as Sinner Saint Burlesque returns to the Brickhouse with The Scared and The Profane, where good is irreverent and evil is irrelevant.  Perhaps you will schmooze with a sinister Santa, chase an unchaste cheerleader, become enlightened by an excitable evangelist, or get a fix from a feigning fan dancer.

Sinner Saint Burlesque: Internationally performing and teaching theatrical striptease and dance company.  Sinner Saint Burlesque was first featured at the Brickhouse in the highly acclaimed Electric Burlesque show in March 2011.  This stellar troupe hails from Seattle, Washington, a hot-spot of Burlesque today AND in the Golden Era of Burlesque.  With a tongue-in-cheek take on their American sensibilities and influences, their performances channel the aesthetic of old world beauty and glamour, fused with modern theatre and culture to create titillating and uplifting cabaret entertainment.

Sinner Saint Burlesque is the longest continually running weekly Burlesque show in Seattle, WA.  Since 2006, the troupe has upheld the neo-burlesque tradition with grace and professionalism in their hometown revue.  Comprised of 5 regular members and a rotating host, the troupe has performed around the US and abroad regularly for the last 2 years.  The Brickhouse run will feature the talents of Evilyn Sin Claire, Polly Wood, Jesse Belle-Jones and Lady Tatas, with London comperes Jayde Adams and Christine Lockhart, and our beloved former host Nicole Lucas returning for the final week of our run!

Show 9.00pm / Dining from 6.30pm. £10 Show Entry / £35 – £40 including four course meal.  Free entry before 7.30pm (Fridays Only)

About the performers

Evilyn Sin Claire

“Seattle’s Wild Child”

“Wild Child” is popular for her sultry, sensual and sometimes downright dangerous portrayal of the femme fatale, but this wild red head cooks up more than just ferocious fare. Bringing a unique character to each professionally choreographed and beautifully costumed act, Evilyn dabbles in a little of everything; comedy, classic, theatrical, sexy, rambunctious, and avant garde.

Lady Tatas

“Seattle’s Sassiest Ass”

Lady Tatas approaches the medium of burlesque with extravangance and spectacularity, with camp and flare, with humor and surrealism. Lady Tatas draws inspiration from the vast spectrum of drag culture, John Waters films, musical comedies of the 1940′s, Lucille Ball, and American kitsch and pop culture.

Jesse Belle-Jones

“The Modern Sexual Intellectual”

Navigating a female body through academia and the world at large, Jesse Belle-Jones is a bluestocking bettie whose sultry, scholarly, scintillating acts are chock full of wit, humor, and dexterous dancing.

Polly Wood

“Seattle’s Tinseled Tart”

“Seattle’s Tinseled Tart” dances regularly in Seattle. Polly delights audiences with her special brand of campy charm, and if you are lucky, barbecue sauce. Seattle’s Tinseled Tart will have you seeing stars!
